HOPELESS...

To commemorate Nick Griffin's appearance on Question Time this week, I thought it would be a nice gesture to design a new Obama style poster for the BNP. Their policies do seem to be rather incomprehensible but hopefully this image is more or less 'on message'. Click to enlarge and do feel free to email, print or publish. (BNP members - why not ask a grown up to help you)

  2. Ooh thats nice. Would you mind putting up an EPS/similar vector format of this? That would enable all sorts of jolly uses for this image.

  3. Excellent & horrible! The man makes my flesh crawl. I'm not sure if that's because of his views, or because he's just generally slimey. Judging by the BNP flyer I was unfortunate enough to receive through my letterbox, they do indeed need to concentrate on 'The English', because frankly the spelling and grammar were atrocious.

  8. Maybe you should make one of your own face also, seems you have a lot of hate to create such an image.

  18. This is brilliant. However isn't all this publicity (Question Time etc)disproportionate considering the size of the support nationally for the BNP? Isn’t it playing into their hands by talking about them all the time? Just a thought.

Fair to say the point the artist is trying to make is that only one thing rests with Griffin - and that is the propaganda of hate.

It's a play on the now-infamous Obama/Hope poster of the same style.

But if you don't get it, you don't get it. Perhaps best just to let it pass you by rather than question the motives of the creator. Rather naive, sir!

  22. Regarding tonight's Question Time programme - I'm guessing Griffin missed the irony, but I had to laugh when a young Jewish lad in the audience asked him how he [Griffin] could believe that the Holocaust didn't happen - and Griffin appeared to have an all too convenient on-the-spot 'road to Damascus' conversion; albeit one based on "WWII radio intercepts of German signals intelligence" about 'Eastern partisans' (Jews) being killed by a retreating German army... - with no mention of the main event in any of the Nazi death camps, before qualifying the insult with "mind you it's all to do with numbers, isn't it?"

On this programme's evidence, I think the British viewing public got a very clear idea of precisely what a bunch of back-pedalling, obfuscating shysters Griffin and the knuckle-draggers of the BNP really are.

Now the mainstream parties need to do what they should have been doing these last 5-to-10 years and treat them like the enemy they are, instead of condescending to and ignoring them. It's this last lackadaisical approach which has allowed the BNP time to muster its troops and resources and, ultimately, win two Euro seats.

And if it's not too cheeky, might I please ask for the following link to be shown here? It's from Veterans Against the BNP, who are understandably hacked-off with the BNP hijacking their symbols and imagery (Churchill, Spitfires, The Union Jack etc.) for their own nefarious ends:
